Olivia is taken from the sidewalk near her college and thrown into a van. Her captors, who she soon discovers are vile, sadistic monsters, abuse her immediately, both mentally and physically. The pink furniture is designed with rounded edges and corners bolted to the floor, and the seams at the bolts melted. This is where the nightmare begins. She is now a part of their collection.


While disturbing in nature and horrific at times, John Hunt has created a masterpiece psychological thriller, full of suspense. Olivia makes heroines of similar genre books pale in comparison. She is one of the bravest you'll ever meet and her story will move you.


My Review;

"Wow!" - Thats's one word I would deffo use to describe this book! = It drew me in from the very beginning, & it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. I literally sped through reading this book; it kept me WANTING & 'NEEDING' to read more, & I devoured it. It was dark, yet delicious; described as a 'Horror' Psychological Thriller, - I wouldn't call it a 'Horror' as such, but brutal & raw, in the detail that it includes, & not for the feint hearted! 

It follows the main character, Olivia, who goes from being a normal teenage girl, who is then abducted, & over 5 years is kept captive, & tortured & raped relentlessly, & in the most brutal ways. This is how the plot starts, & then continues from there, - which I dont really want to comment further on the plot, as I dont want to give away ANY spoliers! - as you can imagine though, this experience drastically changes Olivia.

I liked the writing style of this book, it literally kept me GRIPPED throughout; I literally raced through it, & couldn't put it down!, & it kept a good pace, throughout.

Out of a rating of 1-10, where 10 is the highest, I would HAVE to give this book a whopping 🌟10🌟‼️

It seriously was THAT good! 👌👌👌

Would I recommend this book? - DEFINITELY‼️

If Phsycological Thrillers are your thing, then this book is most deffo a highly recommended MUST-read!
