 💔 The Ex Who Came Back;

My Review! 💔

(Written by Daniel Hurst)

Blurb;

Your biggest mistake is your sister’s new boyfriend.

‘Hi, it’s nice to meet you,’ my sister’s new boyfriend says with a smile on his handsome face. But as I look into his cold green eyes, I know this man is playing a deadly game. Because Mateo is my biggest secret. My worst mistake.

I was never meant to see him again, so why is he here? What has my secret ex come back for?

All the family are gathered, including my husband, Seth. Meeting my sister’s partner for the first time should be a happy occasion but instead my stomach clenches with fear.

Mateo is dangerous. I have to find a way to save my sister from him and keep the truth buried. Because if anyone finds out who Mateo really is I could lose everything. My gorgeous husband. My precious little boy.

Or even my life…

My Review;

I really enjoyed reading this book, which drew me in from the very beginning, & kept me hooked through to the end.

It centred around main character Corrine, who now happily married with a little boy, gets a shock when she meets her sister’s new boyfriend, - only to discover that he's the man she had a one-night-stand with 5 years ago; who she thought was out of her life forever, - until now; hes back. She doubts his true intentions for him being with her sister, & is tormented by the one-night mistake she made, 5 years ago, coming out & destroying her family.

If I'm honest, I did find that a lot of this book was in the apprehension about the secret coming out, - how can I say, - more 'saying' than doing, however, regardless it was a good read, & a compelling read at that!

Based on a rating of 1-10, where 10 is the highest, I would give this book a rating of 8.

= Deffo worth the read, & deffo a book I would highly recommend.
