Blurb;
It's been a month since Thea Melbourne's world was turned upside down by a vampire. Now she's returned home, where her mother lies in a coma. Struggling to return to the life she left behind, she's selling off her gifted couture to pay the bills, avoiding her concerned roommates, and trying to forget the sexy, irresistible vampire who started it all.
Julian Rousseaux knows he should stay away from Thea. In fact, the vampire council demands it. The problem is that she haunts his every thought... When a new threat emerges, he faces the hardest choice he's made in 900 years: pray that she's safer without him or propose a new arrangement to keep her at his side.
One that forces them to confront their own dark secrets while resisting the temptation to cross the line and claim each other ... forever.
READERS ARE OBSESSED!
So Far‼️;
So this is the second book in the 'Filthy Rich Vampire(s)' Series, - Called 'Second Rite', & it picks up from pretty much where the last book ended; albeit 4 weeks after, - but so far, - once again I'm over half way through!, - it's every bit as delicious & dark as the first, & I'm honestly really loving it! I know that after this I've still 2 further books in this series, but I'm already worrying about what I'll (be able) to read after!?!! - I'm so drawn into this fictional world, I feel I'll be lost (😭). So Julian & Thea are back together, & without giving any other spoilers, - they're facing new challenges, themselves, & in their on-going relationship, - obviously I will update on completion of reading this, but for now I'm going to leave you, & look forward to devouring more, to see how things pan out!
★★★
My Review‼️;
So after finishing reading this book, it's still every bit as dark & delicious, though I wouldn't say it was as good at the first book, - it's left some plots in the story hanging, & has risen more questions than answers, - which I'm hoping will be revealed in the next/third book in the series; Three Queens.
Based on a rating of 1-10, where 10 is the highest, I would have to give this book a close rating of 9. = Almost just as good as the first; hoping things can be cleared up in the third.

This is DEFFO a MUST-READ Series for any Vampire / Vampire Fiction fans, & would make the perfect Xmas gift, for some thrilling Christmas-time reading!👌
