She doesn’t remember any of the stories I tell about our childhood, she’s even forgotten her long bouts of illness. When I ask about the day she vanished, she says she doesn’t recall what happened.

I want to be close to my sister again more than anything. But when I find a strange message hidden in her room, I begin to suspect the girl who came home isn’t my sister at all. Who is she? And what really happened to Lydia?

I’m convinced I’m living with an impostor. And I will stop at nothing to expose the truth…

My Review;

I really enjoyed reading this book. It's written in an easy-to-read style, that had me hooked from the very beginning. It tells the story of Anabel, - Lydia's older sister, - & Wendy, - Lydia's mother, - & 'Lydia' - who went missing 6 years ago, & whose mother never gave up hope; keeping Lydia's dissapearance in the spotlight through social media, & then 'Lydia' returns home, - turning up on the doorstep one day, & claiming amnesia, & lost memories. Anabel has her numerous suspicions that 'Lydia' is NOT 'Lydia'; her missing sister, - but an imposter; claiming to be her, & praying on the victims family, - but Anabel's suspicions are not enough, & she needs to figure out just 'who' this young women really is, & what her agenda is, - &, of course, - she needs proof. It tells the story in first person, from Anabel, Wendy, & Lydia. 
I'm not wanting to reveal any spoilers, so I'm going to leave the story-line there, - but this book kept me guessing, & it was such a page-turner, right to the very end, - & with twists at the end that I did not see coming! 

Based on a rating of 1 - 10, where 10 is the highest, I would give this book a rating of a whopping 10! = Overall a GREAT, & VERY gripping read, & I would definitely recommend! 👌
