My Review;

Wow! What a read! 

I was drew into this book from the very beginning, with its easy-to-read style, & great fast paced throughout, & the story itself had me literally HOOKED! 

This book tells the story of Emily, who has to be the 'perfect' wife for her husband, Charles. That includes being a housewife, cleaning, doing chores, wearing 1950's style dresses, & catering to her husband's every whim, - because of what he holds over her, - but just 'what' does he hold over her? To keep her this way? & is he really telling the truth? Then, along comes Heidi; a new neighbour who moves in across the street, & having been a prosecutor for the past ten years, she's seen criminals from all different backgrounds, even those appearing to lead normal lives, - but she has her suspicions that Emily & Charles are not what they seem, & that one of them is lying, - but why? 

I don't want to comment too much on the story itself as I don't want to give any spoilers, but based on a rating of 1 - 10, where 10 is the highest, I would have to give this book a whopping rating of

⭐10! ⭐, = deffo one to read that will have you gripped from the outset!
